HB is suing for the alleged downloading and distribution of the Lionsgate movie “Hellboy.” As with most of the mainstream films that file these lawsuits, this is a Lionsgate production that was a box office disappointment. Now HB Productions is seeking damages from individuals who allegedly downloaded the film using a BitTorrent program such as Popcorn Time or Showbox. This is an emerging trend for underperforming films from Lionsgate.
